Acorn Hall, the headquarters of the Morris County Historical Society, is an 1853 house remodeled into the Italianate Villa style in 1860 and furnished in authentic period style. Acorn Hall features guided tours, changing exhibits, gardens, and a gift shop. It is open to the public on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tours of the house and exhibit are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for students. Children under twelve are free.
