How long have you been in business?
The DeLuxe brand has existed since 1996. Current ownership dates back to 2007.
What is your primary product or service?
We manufacture and sell scale model trains and accessories.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been a train enthusiast since I was a child. After working in finance for many years, I became a computer IT professional and worked at a model train company before acquiring this business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have introduced innovations to the model train market over the years including factory installed etched metal details. We do not use existing car bodies as "stand-ins" for other models that do not exist in model form.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a single facility and plan to stay focused on just the one location.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located next to Parisi's Sport Club and our street runs parallel to the New York Susquehanna & Western railroad tracks in Midland Park. Our Suite (2A) is in the back building on the property on the right-hand side.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and PayPal.
Which areas do you service?
We service the entire country and the world direct and through dealers and distributors. Local customers can pick orders up on site.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Dave Ferrari is the owner and runs the business.
What are your hours of operation?
Our official hours are 1 PM to 4 PM Monday through Friday but we are usually here both before and after those times. Arrangements can be made for off-hours visits too.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"I love your products!" is the compliment I enjoy most.
