Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Unity Charter School was founded in 1998.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Unity Charter School is a tuition-free, public school in Morris Township that integrates the values of sustainability into a vigorous academic program. Enrollment is open to all New Jersey residents from Kindergarten to 8th Grade.
In addition to a strong commitment to the Common Core Curriculum Standards and demonstrated academic success, Unity Charter School is dedicated to developing student leaders for the 21st Century. Our integrated curriculum supports mastery of multi-dimensional abilities while developing well balanced, and confident students. We value and provide unique opportunities for students to develop critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills as well as encourage self exploration and creativity. Through class meetings and Democratic Governance, students are empowered to use their voice, impact change, and be of service to others through community outreach initiatives.
Unity CS students are held to high academic standards and this is evidenced by successful performance on state wide standardized tests where 80% of our students demonstrate proficiency in both English Language Arts and Mathematics.
