How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I saw a real need in the community for safe, reliable babysitting services. I thought about how much I rely on my own parents to babysit my two young children (ages 5 and 2) while I attend to everyday things like going to the doctor, the dentist, getting a haircut, or having an evening out with my husband. I realized that not everybody has the luxury of leaving their children with immediate family, and it really is very difficult to find a reliable babysitter you can trust completely.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There are no other state-licensed centers in the area that offer the convenience of hourly, drop-in child care. Wee Babysit is the first!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location in Parsippany, NJ. I hope to be able to bring Wee Babysit to other locations in the future so that more parents can benefit from the service Wee Babysit provides.
