am located in North West Morris County, New Jersey in a small town called Long Valley. I started my love of photography in high school almost a decade ago. Taking classes through out and doing an independent study my senior year. Eventually I went to Rutgers University and majored in Sociology specializing in theory and mental health. I graduated with my B.A. in 2005 and begin working at Rutgers full time. As time went on life seemed to have gotten in the way and I only took pictures from time to time for myself or close family and friends.
A single event in my life, the loss of our family dog Simon, triggered a series of events that would change my entire life. Due to this I recently left my desk job in Human Resources and started simon says photography at the coaxing of family and friends and support of my husband.
So much of life slips through our hands because of the fast pace of our society. We constantly try to piece together what is going on around us after it’s already passed. My goal is to make as many memories tangible for people and their families. Capturing real life, real emotions and situation is what I thrive to do.
