How long have you been in business?
Real World Martial Arts has been in downtown Denville for 10 Years.
Professor George Sernack has been teaching martial arts full time for almost 30 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is Self-Defense based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing for kids and adults.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Professor George started training martial arts at an early age. Although he was an accomplished kickboxer, and owned "traditional" martial arts schools, when he first saw UFC 1 and took his first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class, he felt like he didn't properly know how to defend himself, using traditional martial arts. That's when he started training under the legendary Renzo Gracie.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We differentiate ourselves from our competition by providing the best quality of service, at one of the largest facilities, at a competitive rate. We are confident in our ability to change our student's lives for the better, so we offer 30 Days Free for all new members to the team. We are also the only Renzo Gracie affiliated school in the county; and one of the only ones to offer kid's and yoga classes.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location. But, the Renzo Gracie Affiliation has 100s of schools around the world. Once you are part of our team here in Denville, you are welcomed with open arms at any Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu school.

We are located 27 East Main Street in Denville New Jersey. We are right next to Mara's Bakery and across the street from a Valley National Bank. Off of Route 46, you will get off on Route 53 South, and immediately make a left. Off of Route 80, you will get off Route 46 in Denville and follow it to the same Route 53 South exit.

We accept all major forms of credit cards. As well as checks and cash. Whatever form of payment will get you on the mat training, and changing your life for the better!

Most of our students live or work within the Morris County area.
