A friendly community of God's people, an ELCA congregation,
Here you will be welcomed, no matter what your history has been. Some of us are folks who have searched for answers, some of us are folks who were raised in Christian homes. Many of us were not raised as Lutheran Christians, but instead found in the Lutheran Church, and particularly at Saint Andrew, a life and community that filled our spiritual needs.
Our child care center, Children's Circle,
www.childrenscircleparsippany.org
is a fully owned and operated ministry of Saint Andrew. We recognize the need and importance of quality day care for children of working parents. St. Andrew built and developed Children's Circle in response to the needs of parents for a warm, safe, nurturing and challenging Center that would provide care for a full circle of a child's needs. We believe that each child is a unique person with individual, God-given, gifts and talents.
Here we are able to bring all of who we are to God, who forgives and gives new life. St. Andrew has a long tradition of outreach and service to its members and the community. We hope you will join us on Sunday to experience for yourself the fellowship of Christ, as we seek to do God's work, with our hands.

Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Founded in 1965 as a "mission" congregation, Saint Andrew Lutheran Church initially worshiped in the gymnasium at Whippany School on Highland Avenue in Whippany. By September 1968, the fledgling congregation broke ground, at its current location which once sat between woods and farmland. As the community of Parsippany-Troy Hills has grown, Saint Andrew has grown with it.
What is your primary product or service?
Our Mission > Faithful Lives...Generous Hearts... Because of Christ
Our Mission Statement > We are a welcoming community in Christ, seeking God's purpose, openly sharing our faith and acting as examples of Christ in the world.

Learn: We long to grow in Christ, understanding God's plan for us, studying God's Word (Holy Bible) and seeking God's counsel in prayer.
Serve: We want to show Christ's love by assisting those in need, embracing those who are outcasts and advocating for those who have no voice.
Share: We are called to intentionally share our experience of God's grace and God's presence in our lives.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Children’s Circle is a ministry of Saint Andrew Lutheran Church which is located in a large, beautifully wooded setting adjacent to 96 acre Old Troy Park. In 1994, the congregation developed and built this secure, state-of-the-art center in response to the needs of parents in the community. We have created a warm, safe, nurturing and challenging center that provides care for a full circle of children’s needs. We serve children 6 weeks through Pre-K with a Summer Camp for children ages 5-10 years old.
There are not many centers with the range of care, broad based curriculum and learner-responsive programs that we offer here at Children’s Circle.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Evangelical Lutheran, Welcoming All, We affirm with the apostle Paul that in Christ "there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female" (Galatians 3:38). Christ has made us one. We acknowledge this reconciliation extends to all people regardless of age, race, gender or national origin, including those whose affectional orientation is toward a person of the same gender.

"Great Day Care: I have had two kids over the span of eight years go through this wonderful day care center. Great long-tenured staff, low cost, and it is not-for-profit which assures that they are not in for the money! My kids have benefited so much from the Center and my son's kindergarten teacher has marveled at how much more advanced he is than some others his age - both academically and socially." - submitted by Bobalooey on Yahoo!
