How long have you been in business?
I have been providing travel services for family and friends for several years. Last year I became a full time certified travel agency.
What is your primary product or service?
I provided travel services to the Caribbean including all inclusive vacation packages, hotels, villas and condos. Airfare, transportation to and from the airport and resort, trip insurance and excursions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Just a few years ago my husband and I became empty nesters. Sadly, in the course of raising our children, we'd grown apart and found ourselves headed for divorce.
As a last ditch effort to save our marriage, we decided to book a romantic Caribbean getaway. We rekindled our relationship, fell in love all over again and found our love for the Caribbean together, and haven't stopped traveling since. After helping family and friends find the perfect vacation and off the beaten path restaurants, I've decided to make planning vacations, which is my passion, my full time career.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I know first hand how the lack of desire and intimacy can put a strain on relationships. Couples who successfully get their relationship back on track go on to have a stronger and happier marriage in the long run.
